Peptide research materials: what good documentation looks like

A polished label is not the same thing as useful research documentation. Researchers need information that helps identify the material and connect it to a specific lot or batch.

Research Use Only. This page is for research-information purposes. It is not medical, veterinary, dosing, injection, compounding, treatment or patient-care guidance.

Start with identity and lot traceability

A research material should have a clear identity, labeled amount, lot or batch identifier, intended-use statement and storage information appropriate to the material.

Certificates of analysis and analytical records

A certificate or analytical report is most useful when it identifies the material and lot it describes, states the method or result being reported, and can be matched to the item in hand. A generic certificate disconnected from a batch is less informative.

Purity is not the same as suitability for human use

A high reported analytical purity does not establish sterility, safety, efficacy, clinical quality, dosing suitability or regulatory approval. Those are different questions.

Research Use Only should mean exactly that

Research-use positioning should be reflected consistently across labeling, marketing, support and documentation. Driftless Research does not provide personal-use, injection, dosing, compounding or treatment instructions.
